kitchen - makeover part IV
The cabinet doors are finally hung except for the two doors above the fridge because their hinges are broken and I haven't gotten around to buying new ones. We really like how the kitchen is coming along. Since I took these pictures we have already started to put together our new kitchen island and changed the light fixture. More about that later...

Hi, I love what you've done with your cabinets! What color grey did you use to paint them? I actually have a similar kitchen design to your "before" look - same counter top color and floor tile color - and haven't figured out what to do about it. Ended up trying to neutralize it in other ways, but I really want to paint my cabinets. This is inspiring. Also, now that they are grey, do you ever feel like your kitchen is cold? I worry about that with grey, that once I have it in the room, it will feel cold. It is so beautiful, though.
ReplyDeleteHi there and thank you! It was a lot of work though but totally worth it :)
ReplyDeleteThe color for the cabinets is 1467 Baltic Gray from Benjamin Moore in semi gloss finish. The color has warm undertones which I really liked with the color of the counter top. I added some color later with yellow chairs and will have to post updated pictures of the kitchen soon.
