It's Monday again...Not my favorite day of the week ;)
The past week has been pretty quiet, so I don't have really exciting photos to show you. Unfortunately my upholstery class last week got cancelled and I will not have any chair progress pictures to show you but hopefully this week I'll fight another round with my chair...
On our Sunday morning walk we saw (and smelled) this house that had a fire a week ago. Luckily nobody got seriously hurt but the house is already being demolished because the structure was damaged so badly by the fire. I can't even imagine how it must feel if you loose everything in a fire...
Ooh! Are you going to attempt a felting elbow-patch DIY? I saw that tutorial somewhere on the internet a few weeks ago and was intrigued, but I think it might be out of my range of crafting abilities. You have to show us how it turns out! Also, a weekend spent in comfy slippers, with a J Crew catalog and Modern Family? Sounds heavenly. And I love your fireplace!
ReplyDeleteYou're so on to me ;) I saw the felting elbow-patches tutorial a while back and thought I could use it fix my favorite cardigan which had a hole at the elbow. Will definitely post some pictures when I'm done. The fireplace was not looking so good when we moved in, it's one of my diy projects or at least the cast iron fireplace door is...
