The temperature dropped again after having springlike weather for a couple of days. Time to cozy up on the sofa wrapped in a warm knitted blanked with a cup of tea in hand. But knit is not just for blankets, scarves etc., it is also making its way into our homes in unexpected places, for instance as an unraveling scarf calendar, knitted light fixtures, vases or even clocks. And who wouldn't want to cozy up to soft and plush faux taxidermy?

That clock blows me away- and I like that it comes in gray as well.
ReplyDeleteLove the stools and the domestic trophies!
ReplyDeleteThe blue stool made me squeal, and I loooove that calendar scarf! What a great round up. I tried knitting a few times and ended up just wanting to stab things with my needles out of frustration. Who needs to learn if I can just buy things pre-knit like this though, right?
ReplyDeleteI love the pencil holder and the deer head. I went to the website for the deer head and there was an awesome red one from a sweater with a zipper. So cool!
ReplyDeleteThe fabric clock is amazing ... especially the cozy cream color .. i luv it!!!
ReplyDeleteAfter browsing the internet for knitted things I wanted to start knitting and crocheting covers for everything in our house but alas I can't do either. Erin, I'm like you and would start stabbing things in frustration ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat roundup of knitted objects. I went on a knitting binge some years ago and walked away with a few scarves and a blanket. I still use the blanket to this day. Last month, Martha Stewart ran a great article on knitted projects that the knitting novice can do. I was truly inspired to start again.
ReplyDeleteI'll look for the Martha article, maybe there is still hope for somebody like me. My mom loves knitting and she knitted two scarfs and a matching hat in record time for me this winter. She said it's very relaxing...
ReplyDeleteThe lights have been on my wish list for a while now. I love them! Now the weathers getting cooler in australia i am craving some knitted item. These are divine xxx
ReplyDeleteGreat selection! I love 6,7 and 9. Maybe I should start knitting again?!
