week thirty eight

Another week passed by...My parents have been staying with us for over a week now and will be leaving on Friday. I love having them but on the other hand it's a bit stressful. Have a lot going on at work and want to spend the remaining time with them, so I don't really have time for anything else.  I will be catching up on all your blogs next weekend!

Last week was also pretty sad one good friend is moving back to Germany after five and a half years and she had a little get together on Thursday. She was one of P's co-workers and became a dear friend. I am not good at saying good bye but I know we will stay in contact and she already promised to visit us next year. See you again soon Steffi!

Yesterday we visited the 9/11 memorial, something that has been on my list for a while. I will share my experience in a separate post.

    That horse sign is just TOO funny. They should have them in Texas because the police horses defecate ALL over the streets downtown

      I love the sign too. The police riders should be required to carry pooper scoopers for their horses ;)

    Love your yellow pants! Seriously, you have the best wardrobe. And when I saw that Instagram shot "Clean up after your horse!" I was definitely expecting to see a giant pile of horse poo in the street, not going to lie. I was pleasantly surprised :) Enjoy the last few days with your parents!

      I am in love with my yellow pants as well. Got them at Target. I was afraid people might expect a big pile of horse poo but I am just too polite to post something like that ;)

    Fab pics - I want your sneaker / ballet pumps collection - loving the yellow pair in particular! There's only one thing for it - you'll have to head to Germany...and swing by Sweden at the same time, we're right next door :)

    Hey, if I spotted correctly you have mustard jeans now?! Me too - I am totally into Mustard right now! You should do a Mustard color post sometime soon ;-)

      I caught mustard fever too. Also own a scarf in that color. They pants are actually corduroys. A post about mustard yellow is a great idea!

    I think the memorial was still unfinished when we visited NY or then it was just closed, we walked by it very late one night. Have fun with your family. I also like your yellow pants, I've been on a look out for orange.
