Can you believe we are in the last stretch of January already? Time is just ticking away...Last week was freezing cold and on Friday afternoon we got a little bit of snow. Of course the falling snow made me want to go snowboarding and so I headed to a mountain with a friend on Saturday. At first it was really cloudy but it turned out to be a gorgeous sunny day. And when I got back in the afternoon I took a nice long hot bath in the new tub to relax my sore muscles. I have to say I love our new tub and will use it many more times this winter. Sunday I spent taking photos for the blog as well as putting them together for upcoming posts...What did you do last week/weekend? Have a great start into the new week!
I'm glad you got to go snowboarding again. I have been mainly couching here, so no outdoors activities for me.
ReplyDeleteI also took a bath in the hotel I was last week. I had not been to a bath for years.
It was my first bath in years too, I almost forgot how relaxing it can be...
DeleteI have to admit, that's one of the first things I did when I moved into my new place - take a good long soak after unpacking
ReplyDeleteAnd you deserved it! Lucky you for snagging a place with a great soaking tub!
DeleteThat bath picture is just the most marvelous thing. I bet it felt good after a long day! I am overdue on taking a bath, myself. I need to fix that, but our tub is such a pain to clean since it has whirlpool jets in it, and no matter how much you think you've scrubbed them, mold is still lurking in the holes. What I wouldn't give for a regular tub! Have a great week, Nina!
ReplyDeleteWe had a bath tub that was not great for taking a bath before too so I totally understand your dilemma. The first bath was so dreamy, at first I wanted to take a glass of red wine with me but it was too early to drink ;)
Deletewhat pretty pictures. the bath looks like the perfect ending to a day on the mountain. i did the normal work/play/relax/clean weekend. we also went to see zero dark thirty. not sure how i feel about that movie yet, it was good, but hard to watch for me. not relaxing, i can say that much! xo
ReplyDeleteI want to see Zero dark Thirty too and it's not really light fare, not sure if I can handle it. I heard that they have recordings of people calling 911 from within the WTC in the beginning, that already gives me the chills...
DeleteNina, I am super jealous of your badass snowboarding skills. I would love to try it but I am pretty sure I'll break something in the process! I love that beautiful picture of the bath!
ReplyDeleteWow! What an experience! Thanks for sharing this with us. :) I hope i can try snowboarding sometime. :)- www.thetubconnection.com
ReplyDeleteBeautiful vintage photos!
