wednesday favorites - perpetual calendars

I wish you all a happy new year! Hope your 2013 got off to a good start. My first day in the new year was a very lazy one, I had the feeling I didn't even wake up completely and the grey weather did not help either. The last day in 2012 was much more productive, as I finally installed the missing pieces in our new bathrooms, now we have mirrors, towel and tissue holders and they are finally camera ready...

Usually by this time I already have picked a new calendar for the year but this time I totally forgot about it and thought it would be fun to round up a selection of calendars that you can use again every year. I am a big fan of No. 1 & 10. The chalkboard wall calendar (No.2) would be great for my "office" so I can write down when I want to post about what topic on the blog and keep my schedule in check.

What does your calendar for 2013 look like?

  1. That little piggie is so sweet! We always get a calendar from Callum's school and I have a planner for myself, so I never pay attention for getting other calendars for us. And yet, we always end up asking, "What's today again?" So maybe we need one!

    Bathroom post, coming?

    1. I have a little planner that I can carry around in my purse, the older I get the more forgetful I become so I need a constant reminder ;) Bathroom post(s) in the works for next week. Finally!

  4. We are purely digital in our house but I must admit that I really miss having a paper calendar that I can scribble notes on to! Loving no. 2! Oh yes, and Happy New Year Nina!

  5. Love all of these! Every year my brother makes the whole family calendars with pictures of my nieces on each page. It's the highlight of the Christmas presents, and we all wait for it every year. So that hangs in our little entryway next to the door. J got me a Paris wall calendar (surprise! haha) for my little writing nook in the guest bedroom: http://www.calendars.com/France/Paris-2013-Wall-Calendar/prod201300004586/?categoryId=cat00713&seoCatId=cat00713 Just like my brother's calendars, I have a feeling I'll be saving this one for the photos even after 2013 is done!

    1. What a great calendar! I would be keeping it to frame some of the pictures as well! Just snagged my coworkers old calendar with a vintage poster theme, he wanted to trash it and I saw potential wall art ;)

  6. Happy 2013 Nina!
I am still in search of a calendar (that means I looked at them once and was just reminded by this post that I never bought one). The little piggy is darling though.

  7. Every year after Christmas I alway wished I had asked for a calendar because I never end up getting one until around february and then, you know, the selections are so limited. I am hoping to snatch one up this week before all the good ones are gone. I love number 10 too!

    1. Isn't number 10 awesome? I think I'll have to look for a new calendar this or the coming week too. Hopefully they are already on sale as the new year already started ;)

  8. The chalk board calendar is amazing! It's such a good idea, although I think I would need a giant version with all the things I need to remember!

  9. I feel like every year I get a wall calendar for my studio...and then eventually completely forget about it. this year, I'm trading in the wall calendar for a weekly planner (a frida kahlo one at that)...so I'm hoping to stick with it for the year!!
