Last weekend we had to make an Ikea run to get some Ribba picture frames. (On a side note they are, in my opinion, the best option if you are looking for inexpensive picture frames that don't look cheap at all.) When we got close to the cash registers I noticed that they already started selling Christmas decorations and of course I had to browse the Christmas section. I can't believe the year is already nearing its end...
The following made it into our shopping cart and ultimately home
The wreaths didn't make it home because for the silver one, which made it into our shopping cart briefly, I had no use even though it would look nice somewhere without the bow or a different colored one. And sadly they didn't have the one on the right on the last picture at the store.

Great pics, after reading this post I want to head to Ikea right away to buy Christmas Deco. Last year I went to Ikea way to late and most of the good stuff was sold out. Thanks for the reminder!
ReplyDeleteHubby and I noticed it too last time we were there. We looked for the RED lighted stars but they were out of stock (cry!!!!). Hubby's looking fwd to going back to get it. He's the decorator at our home around Christmas time. I try to manage to make sure it doesn't get out of hand ... but it usually does haha. But all good, since it is fun!
ReplyDeleteWent to Ikea yesterday and was enthralled by the red star shade, reminded me of one we had in the sixties when christmas decorations were few and far between but alas, they only had the smaller white ones in stock so a return visit is imminent! I'm in charge of the decorating and it got out of hand years ago; it can be a dark and dreary time of the year and we need all the light and cheer we can get so all I can say is go for it!!!!
ReplyDeleteOMG - so schöne Sachen, bislang hab ich mich meist mit geschenkpapier und Co. dort eingedeckt! Ich muss zu IKEA, am besten noch im November und wochentags, sonst wird es mir zu stressig :)
