week eleven

Wow, can you believe that tomorrow is the first day of Spring? The weeks just seem to fly by...

This weekend I went snowboarding for the last time this season, most of the slopes where already pretty bare and the snow was slushy but I still had one lift ticket left. We had fun nonetheless and enjoyed the warm and sunny day on the slopes. I even got a little sunburn on my face. They had a little pond skimming event when we were there, the 2nd photos shows the ramp and the pond. It really looked like a lot of fun but I would probably do a face plant once I hit the water. On Sunday I drove to a friends place so her Mom could help me with my sewing. More about that is coming up later this week...

  1. Umm... dumb question, but why is tomorrow the first day of spring?

The beast looks very capable of finishing up the chair cover :)

  2. Mmm, croissant! That snowboarding shot looks crowded! Do people usually line up along the side, or are you some secret snowboarding pro and they're lining up just for you? ;)

  3. So happy you were able to get one last snowboard trip in before the season ends. We didn't go once this season. Snow conditions were just so bad, or nonexistent. Oh well, there's always next year.

  4. Leena, I couldn't believe it either ;) Time has been flying by this year.

Erin, yes, secret snowboarding pro ;) How fun would that be. Those people where actually standing there to watch a contest, took the photo from the sidelines and was not participating...

Theresa, the skiing season here wasn't great either, we barely had snow but I made the best of it. Hopefully next season will be better.

Love your pics! I wish I had the chance to go skiing more often - although the alps are just 2 hours away...
